Why We Wrote It
The idea for this program grew out of a project that demanded the best of both worlds: hospitality and real estate. A few years ago, Teresa and Cezil collaborated on a Caribbean resort and residences development that combined a five-star hotel with pre-construction residential sales.
Cezil brought expertise in how pre-sales drive the capital stack and determine whether a project can even move forward. Teresa brought decades of experience in luxury hospitality, having worked with brands like St. Regis and Ritz-Carlton, and independent five star hotels like Hotel Bel-Air — as well as first-hand knowledge of what it takes for hotels to meet the Forbes Five-Star standards.
As they worked side by side, something became clear: real estate agents face the same challenges that hotel staff do. Both industries draw professionals from many different backgrounds, and not everyone has been prepared to serve clients at the highest level. In hospitality, training fills that gap — empowering an hourly employee to confidently welcome a billionaire into the Presidential Suite. In real estate, that kind of training simply doesn’t exist.
That realization sparked a new idea: bring the rigor, polish, and mindset of five-star hospitality to real estate.
